Welcome to the
Friends of Nathaniel Boileau Farmstead Web Site!

The Friends of the Nathaniel Boileau Farmstead, Inc. is a non-profit corporation with the purpose of preserving, rehabilitating, and maintaining the four historic farm structures on the property known as Boileau Park.  We work to promote the cultural and historic significance of the site and the tremendous educational opportunities that it affords to local citizens, educators, students, sports groups and civic organizations.

One of the purposes of the corporation includes raising of the necessary funds though grants, contributions and through other fund-raising activities.

Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM in the basement of the Upper Moreland Township Building located at
117 Park Avenue in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.

ED MOMORELLA TRAIL DEDICATION
The Boileau Festival will be held on Saturday, May 4th and at 11:00 that morning we plan to dedicate the trail that has been constructed at the Park in the memory of Edward Momorella who had been a key person in the Upper Moreland Historical Association. He also researched the Boileau and Molloy Families, the previous owners of the Boileau Property. We understand that a number of the members of the Momorella Family will be present for the dedication and unveiling of the plaque in his honor. We hope that many of you will attend this dedication in honor of Ed.

FESTIVAL, 2013
On Saturday, May 4th, The Friends of Nathaniel Boileau Farmstead, Inc., will hold our seventh annual spring event. The sheep herding dogs and Revolutionary Soldiers are expected to make a return, as well as our farm animals, live music and free food.

This year we have invited the Past Masters of Colonial Domestic Arts to present their "Early American Pastimes for Children." This is in addition to our demonstrations of cooking and wool spinning.

Another addition this year is the Penn’s Woods Puppet Theater which will offer two performances of their show "The Walls Have Ears." This company has been a big draw wherever they have performed, according to those who have seen their show.

The festival will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., on Saturday May 4th... Rain or Shine.

In 2009, The Friends of Nathanial Boileau Farmstead signed a 25 year lease with Upper Moreland Township assigning fundraising responsibilities to The Friends while defining a supportive relationship between the two organizations. This relationship will make restoration projects more attractive to public and private funding sources.
